Hi, I'm Jamie Glaspie. I've worked in phlebotomy for over 27 years, beginning in a hospital before transitioning to private practice and medical assisting. One day, I drew blood for the Dean of a college—and that opened the door for me to become a teacher. Since 2008, I've been a phlebotomy instructor and continue to share my love of this field with new students.

I've also served as a supervisor and manager, and I'm a certified BLS (Basic Life Support) Instructor. Whether I'm leading a team, teaching, or drawing blood, my goal is the same: make each patient feel safe, seen, and as comfortable as possible. Many don't even realize I've completed the draw—it's an art I take pride in.
